Rochester Americans 
 
  
The Rochester Americans, also known as The Amerks, are a professional ice hockey team in the America Hockey League (AHL). The team is an owned and operated affiliate of the NHL Buffalo Sabres. Since inception of 1955, The Americans have played at The Blue Cross Arena at The War Memorial. The Amerks are the fourth-oldest franchise in the league and have the second longest tenure among the AHL teams. They celebrated their 60th annivesary in the 2015-2016 season.

The Rochester Red Wings are a AAA Minor League Baseball team based in Rochester, NY and play at Frontier Field. The team plays in the International League and is the top minor league affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. The Rochester Knighthawks, also known as the K-Hawks, are a professional lacross team in the National Lacross League. They play in the Blue Cross arena at the Community War Memorial. They have been members of the NLL since the league's innagural season of 1998.

Buffalo Sabres
 
 
 
 
The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team, based in Buffalo, New York and play in the Atlantic Division. Buffalo was awarded an expansion team by the NHL in 1970 and began their inaugural season at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, "The Aud". 
In 1996, the team moved to a new arena, Marine Midland Arena, and have been there since with modern upgrades over the years. A bright future with 2015 number 2 overall draft pick Jack Eichel.

The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team, based in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metroplican area. In 1959 they were founded by Ralph C. Wilson Jr. and began their inaugural season at War Memorial Stadium in 1960 in the American Football League, where they won two AFL Championships. In 1970, the AFL-NFL Merger was completed and began play in the American Football Conference East (AFC East). In 1973 the Bills moved to now, New Era Field in Orchard Park, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. RIT Tigers
 
 
 
The RIT Men's Hockey team is one of two hockey teams representing Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, New York. The school's team has been competing at the Gene Pollisseni Center since 2014, in the Division 1 Atlantic Hockey Conference. The team has won two national championships, one each at the Division 2 and Division 3 levels. The Men's team advanced to the Division 1 semi-final Frozen Four" in 2010 and is an annual contender winning several conference championships.
